Oracle OpenWorld 2010 is over! While I had to leave early Tuesday (the paying job takes precedence over the volunteer job), there are many things to talk about that happened while I was at OpenWorld this year. I’ll attempt to cover a few of them in this posting.

We are proud to announce that we are launching a new collaboration tool for our members that allows you to play a more active role with our organization. Through this website, our members will be able to communicate and share with each other all year long.
The Oracle Technology Network (OTN) conducted a competition to promote the development of new Oracle Application Express (APEX) applications by Oracle developers.
The ODTUG Board of Directors annually elects around half of the Board for a new two year term. This year, there are five slots open, and 8 outstanding nominees. We have 5 incumbents that have re-submitted their names for consideration: Jerry Ireland, Jeff Jacobs, John King, Bambi Price, and Tim Tow.
